Hello again and a happy new year to all our rockin friends. The year 2010 is sure to be a great one (better than that bullshit 2009). Cosmopolitics is preparing the release of their second studio effort, "Mental Hygiene". Excerpts from the album can be found on the Music page of this website. The band is also preparing for what will sure to be another successful run of spring and summer shows throughout the midwest. We look forward to seeing you on the road and melting your faces off.

Cosmopolitics would like to thank all who participated in our 2009 fall west coast tour. The venues were great as were all who helped fill them. All of us here with the band look forward to coming out and rocking for all of you again very soon.

Cosmopolitics has left the comfort of their native Lawrence, Kansas and has headed out to explore the west coast. This tour comes in anticipation of the band's second album, "Mental Hygiene". The album will consist of ten songs, both new and classics. The tour, however, will feature a mix of ALL the band's work, and even a few tunes sampled from Luke Stone's solo work.

Cosmopolitics looks forward to finding new fans a rocking their respective pants off with progressive and psychedelic sonic blasts! You can follow the band's tour blog on their myspace page at myspace.com/cosmoplitics. You can also leave the band messages there. Good luck and Buddha speed.

Featured in our MUSIC section is a trio version Post Death Ho-Down that progresses directly into Stealth Globe. It was recorded way in March of 2007 at the Jazzhaus in Lawrence, KS and, among other things, features typical Matt Gader guitar insanity.
